From Rockhampton travel along Burnett Hwy through Biloela, Monto, Eidsvold, take Mundubbera turnoff, through Mundubbera over bridge, take turn off on left just after bridge to Manar, follow for approx 56kms (20kms of gravel road) to front gate.
Travel along Isis Highway to Ban Ban Springs, turn right to Gayndah, travel through Gayndah , go past Hotel, turn left after corner shop opposite school, follow road out of Gayndah, follow for approx 60km’s (40kms of gravel road) to front gate.
Travel to Kilkivan, Goomeri, and on to Murgon, on the way out of Murgon just after BP Service Station turn right into Silverleaf Road towards Byee and Hivesville, turn right at Hotel, follow to Proston, go through Proston, follow Proston Boondooma road for approx 40km’s to Carters Corner picnic area, turn right towards Mundubbera, Just after you go past Boondooma Homestead on your left you will turn right into Manar road (Billboard on the corner), follow for approximately 26km’s (20kms of gravel road) to our front gate.
Travel along D’Aguilar Hwy through Woodford, Kilcoy, Blackbutt, Nanango, to Kingaroy, follow Bunya Hwy towards Tingoora , Wondai, just before Tingoora take the Durong Chinchilla turnoff on the left, There is a big Manar Park billboard on left at corner, follow to Durong, at Durong Store turn right towards Mundubbera, follow past Proston turnoff till you see Boondooma Homestead on your left, take next right turn into Manar Rd (another billboard on corner) follow for approx 26km’s (20kms of gravel road) to front gate.
Travel along Warrego hwy to Toowoomba then out to Dalby, after crossing railway in Dalby take Jandowae / Mundubbera turnoff to Jandowae, and then Durong, at Durong store turn left towards Mundubbera, travel along past Proston turnoff, you will pass Boondooma Homestead on your left, take next turn on right Manar Rd (Billboard on corner) travel along Manar Rd for approx 26km’s (20kms of gravel road) to front gate
What we Have to Offer
There are several ways to make payments at the park, including credit card. There is a 2% surcharge on all credit card transactions.
Yes campfires are allowed. Campfires must be small, controlled and supervised at all times. Staff will advise you if for any reason fires are not permitted.
Yes! Manar Park is dog friendly and you’re more than welcome to bring your dogs with you. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times. Manar Park is still a working cattle station, and with bikes and 4WDs driving around the property it is safer to keep your dogs on a leash.
Yes, you do need to bring drinking water. Running water is available at the amenity blocks but this is not suitable for drinking, even after boiling. The kiosk sells water up to quantities of 15l containers if you get stuck.
Manar Park DO NOT hire bikes, however these can be hired from CMC – Capalaba Motorcycle Centre – Unit 3, 168 Redland Bay Road, Capalaba, Brisbane QLD 4157.
CMC provide helmets with their dirt bikes and can assist you with organising a trailer. For more information, contact CMC on (07) 3245 5456 or view their bike options here.
We recommend to bring sufficient quantities. We sell 5L, 10L and 20L of fuel from our kiosk.
Turn off time of 11pm. Noise/music curfew 11pm to 7am. Respect other patrons.
